The same logic as the paid dossier
The classifier below is a port of the function our €490 dossier uses, so it reaches the same verdict on the same claim. What it cannot do is take your whole claim set at once, build the dated evidence register, or rank the remediation work. The guide explains all six rules.
Nothing leaves your browser. No analytics, no cookies, no network requests once the page has loaded — which matters, because unreleased marketing copy should not be going into anyone else’s server.
How the checker decides
It engages every rule your answers match, then reports the worst one — a claim can be on the blacklist for two separate reasons at once, and fixing only one of them leaves it banned.
- The generic-term scan matches substrings. “eco” catches “eco-conscious”. That is deliberate: a false positive costs you a minute of review, a false negative ships a banned claim.
- Missing evidence is always flagged. Even a claim that engages no blacklist entry comes back as needing substantiation if you have not ticked the evidence box, because a surviving claim still has to be substantiated at the time it is made.
- One claim shape cannot be cured. If the claim rests on offsetting, the checker says so explicitly rather than offering a rewrite that does not exist.
Why we ask about the label and the plan separately
Two of the six rules are conditional. A sustainability label is only prohibited if it has no certification scheme or public authority behind it; a future pledge is only high risk if there is no published, independently verified plan. Asking the two halves separately is what stops the tool condemning a claim that is properly backed.
Privacy
This page has no analytics, sets no cookies, and makes no network requests once loaded. The whole scan is JavaScript on your device: you can open it, disconnect, and it still works. Unreleased marketing copy is exactly the kind of thing that should not be travelling to someone else’s server.
